On Thursday, 7-Jan-2009, there were 2 events that took place in
Bangkok, Thailand, in honor of Jerome Downes. The first of these was
the Buddhist Ceremony in the morning, followed by the
Special
Acknowledgment Service for Jerome Downes in the evening.
Sponsored by Landmark Education, The Buddhist Ceremony was requested
and arranged by the staffs and graduates of Landmark Education in
Bangkok. People who have been partners to fulfill Jerome Downes’
commitment, to facilitate a better life for everyone in Thailand
through Landmark Education. Many who attended the ceremony have been
his partners since Jerome came to lead the first Landmark Forum in
Thailand in February 2003.
We are profusely grateful to the Landmark Forum graduates in
Thailand and to Landmark Education; for taking great care of Jerome
Downes by this beautiful and dignified ceremony at the Wat Yannava
(or Yannawa, Temple of the Ship) and for the auspicious blessing
from the monks.

มีงานรำลึกถึงคุณเจอโรม ดาวนส์ 2 งาน ในตอนเช้าเป็นพิธีทางศาสนาพุทธ
และงานรำลึกถึงคุณเจอโรมในตอนเย็น
พิธีทางศาสนาพุทธจัดโดยสต๊าฟและผู้จบการศึกษาของแลนด์มาร์คเอ็ดดูเคชั่นในกรุงเทพ
ซึ่งเป็นผู้ที่เป็นหุ้นส่วนในการเติมเต็มพันธะสัญญาของคุณเจอโรมและสร้างให้เกิดชีวิตที่ดีขึ้นสำหรับทุกๆคนผ่านแลนด์มาร์คเอ็ดดูเคชั่น
หลายคนมีส่วนร่วมกับเจอโรมตั้งแต่เขานำแลนด์มาร์คฟอรั่มครั้งแรกในประเทศไทยในเดือนกุมภาพันธ์
2546 ก็ได้มาเข้าร่วมในพิธีนี้ด้วย
