Landmark Offices in Asia

This is the true joy in life,
the being used for a purpose
recognized by yourself as a mighty one;
the being force of nature
instead of the feverish little clod of ailments and grievances
complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy.

I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community
and as long as I live,
it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can.

I want to be thoroughly used up when I die,
for the harder I work the more I live.
I rejoice in life for its own sake.
Life is no brief candle to me.
It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got a hold for the moment,
and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible
before handing it on to future generations.

"Thank you Jerome,
for me and the millions of others you so masterfully supported! I assisted in Los Angeles when you were the director. You constantly inspired me in the vein of true leadership as only I can imagine it to be at its best. It is through your guidance and support that I can credit some of my achievements and always my commitment to serving others."

“How does one even begin to acknowledge a man who literally stood for, and was the source of bringing transformation to more than a third of the people on the planet. Truly Jerome was a gift to "Being Human". We are saddened when a great man leaves us, but I celebrate his fantastic stand, and the difference he made. Already the fruits of his labor are appearing throughout Asia. The Commitment To Transformation that most distinguished what his life was for, is alive, and stronger than ever. I give you all my love, and support.”

"My dear Han, words cannot express the profound sadness and loss I felt upon knowing of the passing of Jerome. He was such an amazing human being. Now he is an amazing spirit looking and smiling down on all of us, and coaching us from the other dimension. It is a deep honor to have assisted with him at the first-ever Landmark Forums in Manila and Hong Kong. Please accept my heart felt condolence, Han. Know that I am thinking of you, and keeping you, and Jerome's family and loved ones and Landmark family in my prayers. He will live in our hearts forever. I embrace you all with much love,"

“I knew Jerome when he was a Center Manager in Berkeley/Oakland, CA in 1977. I was 20 then. Those were my formative years. He was an extraordinary role model for me. In the more than 30 years since I've known him not a day has gone by that I don't think of him. They are not just thoughts when I think of him. Every day they are powerful distinctions. I know his work was sourced by Werner but for me he is who made the work real for me. I am the person I am because of Jerome Downes. I am the person that I am because of the profound difference he made in my life over three decades ago. I am very saddened by his passing.”

"Jerome, thank you for who you were for me and for the entire human race. You were my first Landmark Forum Leader and freed me from my own mind which enabled me to live a miraculous life…a life full of possibilities. Thank you for the transformation and the inspiration. I will always cherish the times I was able to serve you and your family as your leader support, assistant, and staff."
