Downes.
"I was
Jerome's recorder for many years when he was Center Manager and
Landmark Forum leader in the Los Angeles area. It was normal for
enrollments into his seminars to number 500 to 600 graduates. I was
always in awe of how he could hold that many minds at one time for a
couple of hours. Jerome truly made a difference in the lives of
thousands of people and will be missed by all who knew him. My
prayers are with his family."

"Dear Han, Thank you for all you
provide, and all you will provide. I really think a lot of graduates
should read
Jerome’s August 2009 letter.
Knowing Jerome as I have for the past 3 decades, he wasn’t much for
nostalgia or revelry in the past. He was someone who celebrated in
the future, and would make bold requests, invitations, and promises.
Re-reading his August 2009 letter I hear a call to action.
A Call From The Future
says it all for me. I know you created this web-page for
Jerome’s
work in Asia. I think the best tribute we can make to Jerome is to
forward the work he started in 1999.
Love,"

"I first met
Jerome Downes when I was a participant in the Guest Seminar Leader
Program in 1979. He was a human treasure then and every moment since
then. I just want to say I am shocked by the news and sad, even
though I know his contribution will make an ever expanding
difference. My heart goes out to his family, friends, colleagues,
coaches and all those who love him."

“I am in a state of
shock. Jerome made such a difference in so many peoples' lives
particularly mine and my families. He has left a legacy and he will
love one through the lives of those he has touched.

“I read with shock and deep sadness of
Jerome's passing. Jerome has had such an impact on my life. He
showed me who I was in 2003 and how stuck I was.
In just three days, through
his love,
empathy and commitment, I, like so
many others, could transform what was a probable future to something
totally unprecedented. Who I am today is a result of this.
He was, and will ever be, my Hero.
My condolences to Judy and Asia... and also to you Han, I can only
imagine your grief.”
